How would you describe your “DJ Personality” or “DJ Style”?
I try to read the audience and cater to them. I have sort of a sixth sense on what song will work next to create energy and a smooth flow. I like to interact with the crowd and teach dances or party games to really get the party going!
What is your favorite DJ memory?
I have made a lot of memories over the last 30 years DJing, but the one that stands out the most: I DJ’d a millennium New Year’s Eve Party in New York at Times Square and we were fortunate to not be affected at all by the Y2K scare. It was a blast!

I have always been a hit at kids’ parties, especially mitzvahs, but I am also an audio tech. Over the span of 30 years, I have helped set up many major concerts for artists including Taylor Swift and Paul McCartney. I’ve also done audio feed for several US presidents and sporting events!
What is your favorite part of the night?
My favorite part of any night is when there are more people on the dance floor than there are people sitting in their chairs!
What is your favorite party song?
My favorite party song is “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire. It was the first track I ever played and the stars must have been aligned just right because I played it on “..the 21st night of September” just like it says in the song. The year was 1979 and it was in the Top 40 at the time!
“ Why did you become a DJ?
I actually got into DJing when I was 15 because I was trying to impress a girl! Unfortunately, it did not work, but I fell in love with it and continued to work in the industry all my life.
